The European Union General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) has already come into force since May 2018, the Association has arranged an exclusive seminar for hotel members with focus on major disparities in view of the extraterritorial application of the EUGDPR as well as focusing on the marketing aspects.
We have invited Ms. Sandra Liu, Senior Legal Counsel of Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong and Ms. Tham Yuet Ming, Partner of Sidley Austin as the speakers of the seminar. The seminar was conducted on 7 August 2018 at Hotel ICON with over a hundred participants.
